Saw this cute fairy door in a hobby shop today and thought it was perfect for a Lavinia Stamps make over!! I already had a toadstool seat in the garden and thought the two might go together :)

Hi, I've taken a break from blogging, but I'm back!!

Still a member of the wonderful Lavinia Stamps design team I'll be putting a few examples on here and on my Pinterest account too.

This month it is "no black" so I had a play with some of the fab boarder stamps to creat a patchwork effect.  Loving the Lavinia words too, you can make so many different sentiments from the different sets.

Chinese Tag

It has been ages since I blogged - now Lavinia has gone over to Facebook I haven't really thought about blogging :)

Anyway a Facebook friend has started a tag challenge, so I thought I'd give it a go.  

Lavina Stamps Challenge moves to Facebook

Lavina Stamps have moved their challenge from Blogger to Facebook so that they can reach a wider audience so check it out! There is some more info and rules etc to the left of this page.

They are kicking off with an "anything goes".  Nice and simple - here are a few ideas

1st card from new room!

This is the first card made in my new crafty room and I am glad it was Nick's Birthday one. I used one of my favourite bird stamps and brushos

Let it snow

This months Lavinia Stamps Challenge (see box on left for details) is Let it Snow.

Chaos reigns supreme in our house, building work has meant that my craft room is still being used for storage, so to make these cards involved waiting until they left and then climbing over the bits to find a space to make - but it was fun so therefore worth it!

These are my two cards as samples, I hope you like them and I look forward to seeing yours on the challenge.

The next cards should be made in my new room so I am hoping for great inspiration and to make even better samples :)  Lots of love to you all and a Merry Christmas to you too xxx

Christmas has started!

This months Lavinia Stamps Challenge (see the box on the left for details) is all about Christmas - my absolute favourite time of year.  My house looks like Santa's grotto by the time I've finished decorating it!!

STILL have the builders in!! so much for a 12 week project! still it is looking good and I think that the end is in sight.  I had to fight my way in to my craft room and make these ones quickly, so not quite as good as I would like, I am sure you can all do a lot better and I look forward to seeing your entries.

Bobby is growing fast and getting on well with the the other two, I am sure he is drinking kangaroo juice from somewhere as this little one is on springs!! so intelligent - we have got him doing all sorts of tricks including playing the guitar and skateboarding :)!

Anyway - I do hope that you like these cards and that may be they will give a spark of inspiration for you to enter our challenge.


This is so simple to do with the tiny leaf stamps and one of my favourite to make.  Love the new simple message too!

This is done with brushing mica powder over versa mark

This looks better in real live as the background has silver flakes that catch the light as you turn it.
